How to reach us

Everything comes to one place. Support requests, questions, privacy requests, and legal notices all go to support@buffleheadsoftware.com, and are read and answered by the people who build the software rather than an outsourced desk. Full details are on the contact page.

What we build

Native applications for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, written in Swift against Apple's own frameworks. We are not a contract development shop and we do not take client work; we build and publish our own products.

As of September 2026 the company's first applications are in development and none have been released. This page will list them as they ship.

How we work

The name

The bufflehead (Bucephala albeola) is the smallest diving duck in North America — about thirteen inches, much of it head. It nests almost exclusively in cavities abandoned by woodpeckers, being the only North American duck small enough to use them, and it pops back to the surface after every dive. It seemed like a reasonable mascot for a deliberately small software company.
